There are numerous materials containing sugar (fruits, grains, whey, sweeteners, and vegetables) that are used to create vinegars. While resulting in many varieties, the two most common types of vinegar are apple cider and distilled white (spirit). This pungent powdered version is great for dressings, dips, marinades, as well as atop fries and chips.
Spice Fun Fact: During the Middle Ages a sweetener called "sugar of lead" was produced by pouring vinegar onto lead. It was then used to sweeten cider until it proved deadly.
