Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps
A crunchy dish, full of Asian flair, perfect for an appetizer or entrée (depending on the size of the lettuce leaves used). Ginger Teriyaki Spice Blend perfects this addictive dish with savory flavors.

½ tsp Ginger Sugar
¼ tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 tsp Ginger Teriyaki Spice Blend
From the Grocer
1/3 cup water
¼ cup hoisin sauce
1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 lb ground chicken
1 large carrot, peeled and finely diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 green onions, chopped
1 large head of lettuce, leaves separated
IN a small bowl, combine the Ginger Sugar, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, water, hoisin, and soy sauce.
HEAT a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 Tbsp. of vegetable oil and the ground chicken and cook, breaking up the chicken as it cooks, until browned, about 5 minutes.
ADD Ginger Teriyaki Spice Blend and reduce the heat to medium.
ADD carrot and the remaining vegetable oil.
COOK for 2 minutes, then add garlic and green onion and cook an additional minute.
STIR in the hoisin mixture and continue to cook until the sauce thickens, another 1-2 minutes.
SERVE the mixture in a lettuce leaf and top with some chopped green onions.
