Griller's Best Steak Marinade
Great for any cut of steak or chops, this marinade will produce a tender, melt-in-your-mouth cut of meat. ButcherÃ¢Â€Â™s Rub and Ultimate Umami Seasoning add deep, savory flavor perfect for summer grilling.
2 tsp. Ultimate Umami Seasoning
2 tsp. Vik's Garlic Fix Spice Blend
2/3 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp. packed dark brown sugar
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
4-6 individual steaks or chops
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
RESERVE ¼ cup of liquid, and pour the rest of the marinade into a large zipper top plastic bag, along with the steaks or chops. Seal bag and place in refrigerator 30 mins. to 1 hr.
WHISK vinegar into reserved ¼ cup liquid, set aside.
PREHEAT grill or broiler.
GRILL or broil steaks or chops as desired.
TRANSFER grilled steaks or chops to a shallow pan.
POUR reserved liquid over top. Cover loosely with aluminum foil, and let rest 10 min, turning steaks over halfway through. Slice and serve.
