1 tsp. matcha tea
1 star anise, (optional garnish)
Honey straw, (optional sweetner)

1/3 cup filtered water
1 ¼ cup milk (whole, 2% skim, almond, coconut, or soy)
IN a bowl, whisk together water and sifted matcha powder until all clumps are gone. Pour into preferred glass.
USING a milk frother, heat milk then gently pour at an angle into glass.
TOP with remaining milk foam to create latte art.
SERVE in a coupe glass. Mix in honey and garnish with a star anise.
