Autumn Spiced Pear Tonic
Sit back and enjoy this crisp cocktail that features fruity pears and spicy chai notes with our Autumn Spiced Pear Tea and Chai Sugar. Filled with fall flavors, this delicious and refreshing beverage is boozy but good!

2 Tbsp. Spiced Autumn Pear Tea
1 cup Chai Sugar
2 Cinnamon stick - Korintje
1 star anise, (optional garnish)
From the Grocer
1/2 cup filtered water
2 ounces gin
1-2 ounces club soda
1 pear sliced thinly (optional garnish)
Create Chai Simple Syrup (best if prepared ahead):
STEEP Spiced Autumn Pear, Chai Sugar, and 1 Cinnamon Stick - Korintje in water. Bring all ingredients to a simmer over medium heat; stir to dissolve sugar. Let simmer over low for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Strain out tea leaves and cinnamon sticks and discard. Store extra syrup in refrigerator.
FILL a cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin and ¾ ounce of Spiced Autumn Pear Simple Syrup to cocktail shaker. Replace lid and shake for 15 seconds or until shaker becomes frosty. Strain into cocktail glass.
TOP with club soda.
GARNISH with sliced pear, cinnamon stick and Star Anise.
