With pumpkin puree and TSTE® Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend, these pumpkin waffles make a warm and filling breakfast. Topped with whipped cream, homemade pumpkin syrup, and TSTE® Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract, this delicious breakfast is packed full of autumn flavors!
From TSTE® 2¼ tsp TSTE® Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend, divided ½ tsp TSTE® Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract TSTE® Baker's Secret Spice Blend (optional topping) From the Grocer 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 3/8 cup water 1/4 cup light corn syrup 4 1/2 TBS pumpkin puree, divided 1 box waffle mix (+ ingredients used on box for 4 waffles) Whipped cream (optional topping)
ADD brown sugar, white sugar, water, corn syrup, 2½ TBS pumpkin puree, ¼ tsp TSTE® Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend, and TSTE® Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract to a medium saucepan. Stir constantly over medium-high heat until the mixture reaches a boil. ONCE boiling, turn heat down to medium-low and simmer 3 additional mins. Allow to cool. MAKE batter for 4 waffles per box instructions. Mix remaining 2 TBS pumpkin puree and remaining 2 tsp TSTE® Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend into the waffle batter. Bake waffles as instructed. SERVE waffles topped with whipped cream, pumpkin syrup, and a few grinds of TSTE® Baker's Secret Spice Blend. Refrigerate any unused syrup for later use. *If desired, homemade waffle batter may also be substituted for the box mix. Yield: 4 waffles Total Time: 35 mins Prep: 10 mins Cook: 25 mins
