COMBINE white chocolate chips and 2 tsp vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl.
COMBINE milk chocolate chips and 2 tsp vegetable shortening in another microwave-safe bowl.
MELT each chocolate batch by microwaving in 30 sec increments, stirring in-between, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
DIP each pretzel rod into the chocolate and use a spoon to spread the chocolate about ¾ of the way up the pretzel. Drizzle with the other chocolate if desired. Sprinkle with your favorite Sugar. Place on wax paper and allow chocolate to harden (refrigeration will speed this up).
