Create sweet or savory flavor-infused marinades by combining olive oil, a tangy vinegar or fruit juice, and a wide array of spices. Add a gourmet touch to meat, fish, vegetables, and kebabs with this delicious marinade!

Ingredients

½ cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
½ cup white wine
1½ TBS Espresso Steak Rub
1½ TBS Shallots - Chopped

Preparation

ADD the Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to a 12 oz jar or a medium mixing bowl. Whisk in the acid (fruit juice, wine, or vinegar).
ADD spices, blends, or any additional ingredients from The Spice & Tea Exchange®. Stir well.
MARINATE meat or vegetables by placing in a ziptop bag or a non-reactive container and covering with the marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator until ready to cook. Discard marinade after use.
PROCEED with cooking as desired.
*Infused marinades add unique flavor to chicken, fish, shrimp, pork, and many other small or thin cuts of meats. Also delicious for marinating tender vegetables (mushrooms, zucchini, squash, eggplant) or kebabs before grilling.
