Herbed citrus olives make a tasty snack or are a delicious part of a cheese board or antipasti platter. When the olives are gone, the flavored oil can be used again for: cheese (chunks of solid feta cheese or mozzarella pearls), as a marinade or salad dressing, or as a basting oil for meat and vegetables!

From the Grocer2 cups mixed olives (from grocer’s antipasti bar)Zest from one orange
COMBINE Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Lamb & Pork Seasoning, Olive Sea Salt, and Pirate’s Bite Spice Blend and set aside 15 mins for flavors to bloom.DRAIN olives. Combine with orange zest and put into a re-sealable jar. Pour seasoned olive oil over olives and add additional olive oil to cover.SEAL and let stand at room temperature for at least 8 hrs before serving or refrigerate for up to a month (olive oil will get thick and cloudy). Bring to room temperature before serving. Alternatively, spoon into a shallow pan and warm gently over low heat.
