Designed to accompany our TSTE® Master Chowder Recipe, this garlic bread is an amazing garden medley. Serve with chowders, seafood, soups, and various dishes - Italian or otherwise!
From TSTE®¼ cup TSTE® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil2 TBS TSTE® Basil2 TBS TSTE® Mariner's Chowder Spice Blend2 TBS TSTE® Garlic Powder
From the Grocer1 (16 ounce) loaf Italian bread¼ cup butter, softened1 cup green onion1 cup parmesan cheese
PREHEAT the oven to 500°F.USING a bread knife, slice the bread loaf in half (lengthwise).PLACE TSTE® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, TSTE® Basil, TSTE® Mariner’s Chowder Spice Blend, TSTE® Garlic Powder, butter, and green onion into a food processor and blend until smooth. Spread this mix evenly amongst both slices of bread.SPRINKLE both halves with parmesan cheese.BROIL (or bake at about 500°F) loaves on an ungreased baking sheet about 3-5 mins or until cheese is melted (or bubbly). Check often and be careful not to burn the bread.WHEN cooled enough, cut each piece into 1-inch slices and serve warm.
