Ingredients

From TSTE®
¼ cup TSTE® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 TBS TSTE® Basil
2 TBS TSTE® Mariner's Chowder Spice Blend
2 TBS TSTE® Garlic Powder

From the Grocer
1 (16 ounce) loaf Italian bread
¼ cup butter, softened
1 cup green onion
1 cup parmesan cheese

Preparation

PREHEAT the oven to 500°F.
USING a bread knife, slice the bread loaf in half (lengthwise).
PLACE TSTE® Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, TSTE® Basil, TSTE® Mariner’s Chowder Spice Blend, TSTE® Garlic Powder, butter, and green onion into a food processor and blend until smooth. Spread this mix evenly amongst both slices of bread.
SPRINKLE both halves with parmesan cheese.
BROIL (or bake at about 500°F) loaves on an ungreased baking sheet about 3-5 mins or until cheese is melted (or bubbly). Check often and be careful not to burn the bread.
WHEN cooled enough, cut each piece into 1-inch slices and serve warm.
