English Roast Rub

Classic northern European rub for all types of roasts. Season very generously, rub into meat, and roast/bake. Use drippings to baste meat and make a rich gravy.

    Good flavors for beef
    This is a good rub for roast beef -- adds flavor to the meat. I recommend mixing it with olive oil to make a paste before putting it on the meat (especially if your roast is very lean). I have used this on top round, bottom round rump roast and even pot roast (just sprinkle it on before searing the meat -- add a little to the cooking liquid for more flavor.)
