Ingredients

Lime Frost Sea Salt (sea salt, limes), chipotle chiles, garlic powder (garlic, silicon dioxide [anti-caking agent]), Roasted Black Garlic Sea Salt (sea salt, black garlic powder).

Measurements

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced into strips
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 portobello mushrooms, sliced
  • 1½ tsp. kosher salt, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 top-round steaks
  • 1 spice packet: 1½ tsp. Chipotle Pepper Powder, 1½ tsp. Lime Frost Sea Salt, 1½ tsp. Roasted Black Garlic Sea Salt, ¾ tsp.

  • 2 Tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 3 cups long grain rice, cooked

How to Prepare
Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until it gives off heat. Add in the peppers and garlic and cook for 5 mins. Add in the onion and cook for an additional 5 mins. Then add in the mushrooms and ½ tsp. kosher salt. Stir occasionally. While the veggies are cooking, heat the butter in a cast iron pan over medium-high heat until it becomes slightly brown. Sprinkle ½ tsp. of the spice packet on each side of the steak, and cook for 2 mins per side for medium-rare. As the steak cooks, reduce the heat of the vegetables to low. Once all of the steaks have cooked, transfer them to a cutting board; then slice into strips when cooled. Stir the cilantro, lime juice, and remaining kosher salt into the rice. Divide the rice, vegetables, and steak into bowls and garnish with more cilantro.
