Bold, smoky, and zesty, this dressing combines the deep heat of chipotle peppers with the bright freshness of lime juice. Chipotle Lime is ideal for Southwestern salads, taco salads, burrito bowls, and grilled vegetable salads, bringing smoky heat and bright citrus that ties all the ingredients together.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 2 Tbsp agave nectar

2 tsp Oregano - Mexican

½ tsp Chipotle Powder

½ tsp Paprika - Spanish Sweet

¼ tsp Garlic - Minced
- ¼ tsp each kosher salt & black pepper, to taste

Directions
- Add Liquid Ingredients. Add vegetable oil and lime juice using the jar’s measurement markings as a guide.
- Add Remaining Ingredients. Add agave nectar, Oregano - Mexican, Chipotle Powder, Paprika - Spanish Sweet, Garlic - Minced, kosher salt, and black pepper.
- Secure Lid & Shake. Secure jar using the Sealing Lid; shake vigorously for 20 to 25 seconds to emulsify.
- For best results, prepare dressing one day before serving and refrigerate to allow spices to rehydrate and flavors to meld.
- Serve. Just before serving, shake to re-emulsify. Taste and adjust seasonings, if needed. Secure jar with Spouted Lid for easy pouring. To store any leftovers, replace Spouted Lid with Sealing Lid and refrigerate.
Recipe Note
Chipotle Lime Dressing pairs well with these ingredients: romaine lettuce or chopped iceberg, grilled corn, black beans, cherry tomato, red onion, avocado, cilantro, tortilla strips or crushed tortilla chips, cotija or queso fresco cheese.
