For a true French fry vibe, cut asparagus into 4- to 5-inch pieces before breading. Achieve the perfect balance of flavors with sweet & spicy and cool & creamy dipping sauces.
Parmesan Crusted Asparagus

Ingredients

    • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs
    • 2 ea eggs, beaten with 1 tsp water
    • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 1 Tbsp Shawarma Spice Blend
    • 1 Tbsp Vik’s Garlic Fix! Spice Blend
    • ½ tsp kosher salt
    • 1 lb asparagus, trimmed (about 20 spears, thicker spears work best)

    • 1 cup honey
    • ¾ tsp Harissa Seasoning
    • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

    • ¾ cup plain Greek yogurt
    • ¼ cup sour cream
    • ¾ cup grated deseeded cucumber
    • 1 Tbsp Tzatziki Seasoning

    Directions

      1. Generously coat air fryer basket with cooking spray; set aside. In a large, shallow dish combine cheese and breadcrumbs; set aside. In another large, shallow dish whisk together eggs, flour, spice blends, and salt.
      2. Dip asparagus in the seasoned egg mixture to coat; lift with a fork or tongs to let excess egg drip off. Transfer to the breadcrumb-cheese mixture and coat thoroughly. Place breaded asparagus in the air fryer in a single layer; air-fry at 400ºF for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway until golden. Work in batches if necessary. Serve with Harissa Hot Honey and/or Cool Tzatziki Dip.

        Alternatively, oven-bake at 425ºF on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 11 to 13 minutes.

      1. Add ingredients to a small saucepan over medium heat. When mixture begins to gently bubble, reduce heat to low. Heat for one additional minute; transfer to a serving bowl.
