Steak Tacos

Ingredients

    • 1 lb skirt steak

    • 1 Tbsp lime juice

    • 2 Tbsp olive oil, divided

    • 2 Tbsp Smoky Black Garlic Seasoning

    • 2 tsp kosher salt

    • 1½ cups Roma tomato, diced

    • ½ cup red onion, diced

    • ½ cup jalapeño, seeded and diced

    • ¾ cup mango, diced

    • 1 Tbsp lime juice

    • ½ cup sour cream

    • 2 tsp Chipotle Pepper Powder

    • 2 tsp Honey - Granulated

    • 8 ea corn tortillas, warmed

    Directions

    1. Prepare Steak. Place skirt steak in a large bowl; coat with lime juice and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with Smoky Black Garlic Seasoning and kosher salt. In a large pan or cast-iron skillet, add remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook steak, 3 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches your desired doneness (130ºF-135ºF for medium-rare). Remove from heat and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into 1/2-inch strips.

    2. Prepare Pico de Gallo. In a medium bowl, combine ingredients; set aside.

    3. Prepare Crema. In a small bowl, whisk sour cream, Chipotle Pepper Powder, and Honey - Granulated until combined.

    4. Assemble. Fill warm tortillas with steak slices, mango pico de gallo, and drizzle with chipotle honey crema.
