This elegant, herbaceous cocktail combines elderberry-infused rye whiskey with golden honey, fresh thyme, and a splash of lemon for a perfectly balanced sip—earthy, sweet, and slightly tart. It’s a sophisticated twist on a whiskey sour.

Ingredients
Herbal Tea-Infused Whiskey
- 10 oz rye whiskey
- 2 Tbsp Elderberry Fortress Herbal Tea
Honey Thyme Syrup

6 Tbsp Honey
– Granulated

1 tsp Thyme
- 3 oz water at 200ºF
Cocktail Assembly
- 2 oz herbal tea-infused whiskey
- ¾ oz honey thyme syrup
- ¼ oz fresh lemon juice
- garnish fresh thyme

Directions
- Infuse Whiskey. Combine rye whiskey and herbal tea; infuse at room temperature for 2 hours to overnight. Strain fully; reserve tea solids. Yields approximately 9 ounces.
- Prepare Syrup. To a small, heat-safe container, add the reserved herbal tea solids, Granulated Honey, Thyme, and hot water; stir until fully dissolved. Loosely cover; steep for 10 minutes. Strain fully; discard solids. Allow syrup to cool before cocktail assembly. Yields approximately 4 ounces.
- Assemble Cocktail. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice; secure lid and shake vigorously to chill and foam. Strain into a small cocktail glass with fresh ice. Garnish with fresh thyme.
