Rich with turmeric, Golden Milk is a traditional Indian beverage also known as Haldi Doodh and can be thought of as an anti-inflammatory latte. A warm and comforting cup, Golden Milk is the perfect feel-good beverage.
Ingredients

1 cup whole milk*

1/2 cup water
-
3/4 tsp Turmeric
-
1/2 tsp Ginger - Ground

pinch Cayenne Pepper
-
1 Tbsp Honey - Granulated

Directions
To a small sauce pot, add milk, water, Turmeric, Ginger, and Cayenne Pepper; stir well. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
Reduce the heat to medium-low; cover, leaving the lid slightly ajar for steam to escape. Simmer for 5 minutes (or up to 10 minutes for stronger flavor).
Remove from heat; stir in Honey-Granulated. Strain into a mug. For best results, aerate using a milk frother until foamy. Garnish with a light dusting of Turmeric, if desired.
