1 oz Simple Syrup
2 oz Bourbon
1 oz Steeped Blackberry Bordeaux Pu-erh Tea
1 oz fresh lemon juice
3 dashes aromatic bitters
Optional Garnish, lemon peel and blackberries
Heat filtered water to 200°F. Steep Blackberry Bordeaux Pu-erh Tea for 5 minutes. Strain. Let cool and chill tea in refrigerator. Measure out 1 ounces of steeped tea and set aside. In a shaker, muddle blackberries with simple syrup. Add lemon juice, bourbon, tea, bitters, and stir. Strain and serve over ice in an old fashioned high ball glass. Garnish with lemon peel and fresh blackberries. Makes 1 cocktail.
