An oh-so-easy way to make tender and delicious pulled pork with minimal prep time! Smoky, juicy pulled pork is a great crowd pleaser and can be served in a variety of ways making leftovers more interesting.
From TSTE1 oz TSTE® Paprika - Smoked Sweet1 oz TSTE® Backwoods Hickory RubFrom the Grocer2-3 lb boneless pork roast (Boston butt)Non-stick cooking spray1 medium onion, finely diced
RUB pork with TSTE® Paprika - Smoked Sweet and then with TSTE® Backwoods Hickory Rub making sure to coat all surfaces thoroughly.WRAP tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.SPRAY the inside of a 6-qt slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.PUT the onions in the bottom of the slow cooker and place the seasoned pork on top of the onions.COVER and cook on low for 8-10 hrs. Verify that the pork has reached a minimum internal temperature of 145?F.REMOVE pork from slow cooker, reserving liquid and onions.PULL pork apart using two forks.ADD onions and reserved liquid if desired. Toss to combine.SERVE as-is, in a sandwich, in burritos, or on nachos.
