I'm pescetarian, and I'm always looking for good seasonings & blends for my dishes. This seasoning makes any veggie mass meal prep outrageously tasty. Anytime I cook for friends they ask what's the secret ingredient: and it's always Ultimate Umami hah!

Got this try out on salmon and it's become my fav spice to use on it. Marinade with the umami spice, maple syrup, sesame oil and sambal and sprinkle with everything g bagel seasoning just before cooking.

My hubby and I can't tolerate a lot for heavy spices. This just adds a nice ump to the taste. Thank you.

So, I'm one of those folks who really likes savory meaty flavors, but I'm not quite as sensitive to them as others. I'm always looking for ways to amp up meaty flavors, and this blend is wonderful at doing just that. My favorite uses for it involve any meal in which ground beef is used. My most favorite is as an addition to the New York Times Cooking recipe for Juicy Lucy's. One teaspoon was all it took to make them best burgers I have ever eaten. It's great in any meatloaf recipe too, and can bring extra depth to sauces.

I love this blend! It's great on vegetables, soups, sauces, and fish. I use it in place of salt on fries and hash browns, and it gives spaghetti sauce a richer depth of flavor.

I add this to so many things! Burgers, Chili, grilled chicken for sandwiches (one of my favorite uses for it), etc. It's not a super strong flavor, so you can be heavy-handed with it (also because there's not much salt in it). I like to buy spice blends that I cannot easily make myself. Powdering my own mushrooms and tomatoes is not realistic, so I love having this on hand.
