COMBINE all ingredients, except ribs, in a bowl, stirring until well mixed.
ADD ribs, and coat with sauce.
SPRAY interior walls of slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place ribs up against interior walls with meaty side touching walls. Transfer rest of sauce over top of ribs and into bottom of slow cooker.
COVER and cook on high 3-5 hrs, depending on slow cooker and thickness of ribs, until fully cooked and tender. Check ribs halfway through cooking, adding up to ¼ cup broth if needed, to thin out sauce and keep ribs from burning.
REMOVE ribs from slow cooker, place on cutting board and pull or cut apart.
STIR residual sauce and serve on the side or over top of ribs.
