8 tsp Earl Grey Crème Tea
6 Star Anise, divided
1 Cardamom - Green Pod, smashed
2 Cloves - Whole
½ cup Coconut Sugar
1 tsp Espresso Sugar (optional garnish)

From the Grocer
32 oz filtered water
½ cup half and half
(other options: coconut, whole, or sweetened condensed milk)

Preparation

HEAT filtered water to 212°F (boiling). Steep Earl Grey Crème Tea, 2 Star Anise, Cardamom - Green Pod, Cloves - Whole, and Coconut Sugar together for 1 hr. Strain. Stir to make sure sugar is dissolved. Set aside for a couple mins and then refrigerate until cool.
FILL four beverage glasses with ice. Pour in the steeped tea, leaving enough room for your desired amount of half and half.
*For an 8 oz glass of tea, we prefer about 2 TBS of half and half.

Serving Suggestion:
GARNISH with an additional Star Anise floating on top of each glass or for a unique touch, sprinkle with Espresso Sugar.
