Parsley

Another well-known and globally-used herb, Parsley’s fresh scent and taste add a flavorful light touch to almost all foods. Parsley was once greatly sought for its medicinal purposes, and Hippocrates used it as a cure for a variety of aliments. Ancient Greeks used it as a wreath to crown winners of sporting events. In the Hebrew culture it is a symbol of rebirth at Passover. Parsley is commonly used in many recipes for soups, sauces, meats, fish, and as a standard garnish.
