How much money will I have to invest in a The Spice & Tea Exchange® franchise?
A The Spice & Tea Exchange® franchise may be more affordable than you think. Choosing the TSTE® Managed Build-Out Option with all of the major operational components for your business included, pricing for our stores range from $175,900 to $282,400*. This includes your TSTE® decoration, displays, work areas, all of the necessary product equipment, POS system, shipping materials, label printer, your initial inventory of spices, herbs, teas, grains, blends and accessories, and hundreds of other inventory items. Assuming you have your own computer, to use our provided templates and access our operation systems, you will literally be able to open for business with all that we provide. The only other primary costs that you will need to plan for with your new TSTE® franchise are: your Lease-acquisition, any required permits & licenses, and other business protocols.

Do I need to have previous retail experience to own a The Spice & Tea Exchange® franchise?
Absolutely not! All we ask of our TSTE® Franchisees is that they open a store because they truly enjoy food & cooking and want to share that passion with others. We will train and advise you on the basics of successful retail operations.
What if I don't know everything about spices?
No-one knows everything, but if you are eager to learn, you're already halfway there! We proudly offer excellent training and provide different types of materials to help you soak up all of the knowledge you can, and in a surprisingly short period of time.
