Cinnamon Stick 3" Korintje

Cinnamon and Cassia are literally the bark of a tree. The "sticks" that we are so commonly used to seeing are the dried and cured pieces of this bark. Korintje cinnamon comes primarily from China and is known for its mild and slightly sweet flavor. Although it is actually a Cassia (related to cinnamon), it is the flavor & aroma that we most familiarly call "cinnamon". Use these sticks in coffee, cocoa, tea, or grate into a powder for use in baking recipes.
