An oh-so-easy way to make tender and delicious pulled pork with minimal prep time! Smoky, juicy pulled pork is a great crowd pleaser and can be served in a variety of ways making leftovers more interesting.

Ingredients

From TSTE
1 oz TSTE® Paprika - Smoked Sweet
1 oz TSTE® Backwoods Hickory Rub

From the Grocer
2-3 lb boneless pork roast (Boston butt)
Non-stick cooking spray
1 medium onion, finely diced

Preparation

RUB pork with TSTE® Paprika - Smoked Sweet and then with TSTE® Backwoods Hickory Rub making sure to coat all surfaces thoroughly.
WRAP tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
SPRAY the inside of a 6-qt slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
PUT the onions in the bottom of the slow cooker and place the seasoned pork on top of the onions.
COVER and cook on low for 8-10 hrs. Verify that the pork has reached a minimum internal temperature of 145?F.
REMOVE pork from slow cooker, reserving liquid and onions.
PULL pork apart using two forks.
ADD onions and reserved liquid if desired. Toss to combine.
SERVE as-is, in a sandwich, in burritos, or on nachos.
